Customer Service.

So, here's my question I posed to the good people who supply my website tech.

"Hi. The problem I'm running into with the software is that every time I enter a product it takes 3 steps for it to get into the system. We have over 500 hundred products every time I enter just one it takes five to ten minutes.

I was wondering if there was a faster way to enter products into the site? I noticed the bulk image upload option, which is good, but I need something similar for entering products as it takes far too long right now.

Simple, no? I wanna know if there's a faster way to enter inventory.

So here's their response:

You can simply FTP images via any FTP software under the correct folder. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Oh, and hey, the response? Took a week to get back to me. A damned week for that simple answer that didn't even answer the question I asked.

So why am I writing this? I'm VERY irritated and I needed an outlet before I accidentally call one of my customers a super-douche.


So, doing my best not to call the guy a dumbass and to keep my manners in, I reply:

"Thanks for the response, but that does nothing to help me. In adding an item, not an image, is there a way to do it in bulk? I'm talking about the inventory menu."

This is one of the reasons I'm learning HTML so I don't have to deal with these people. Then I can be one of those people that answer the wrong question and get called a dumbass in a blog! MUAH HA HA HA HA!
